Chattahoochee Rifle Club is hosting monthly approved Smallbore Prone matches March - December.

DATES: April 8th,May 6th,June 3rd,July 8th,September 2nd,October 7th,November 4th, and December 2nd, 2018

DIRECTIONS TO RANGE: From Cusseta, Georgia – Turn south onto US Hwy 27 and proceed two miles to Riverbend Road.

Turn right onto Riverbend Road and travel 4.6 miles to the first paved road on the left, Hitchitee Creek Road. Turn left

and follow the road for two miles until you see the CRC sign on the left side of the road. From Lumpkin, Georgia – Travel

north on US Hwy 27 until you come to Hitchitee Creek Road, which is just north of Louvale. Turn left onto Hitchitee Creek

Road and travel about two miles until you come to the CRC sign on the right side of the road.

RULES: NRA rules will govern.


REGISTRATION FEE: $15.00 for adults, $5.00 for juniors. Registration fee includes the $4.50 NRA fee.

ENTRIES CLOSE: 30 minutes prior to the match.

ENTRY LIMIT: 15 shooters in one relay.

FIRING STARTS: 9:00 a.m.

CLASSIFICATION: The NRA classification system will be used. Classes will not be combined. Unclassified shooters will

compete in the Master Class. NRA temporary score books will be available to unclassified shooters to use for temporary

classification in future matches.

AWARDS: Club Championship points will be awarded.

RIFLES: Any rifle, Rule 3.2; metallic or telescopic sights, Rules 3.7(a) & 3.7(b). 

F-class rifle, Rule 3.1.1

AMMUNITION: Rule 3.17. Any safe .22 Short, .22 Long, or .22 Long Rifle ammunition except hollow point, incendiary or

tracer bullets.

EMPTY CHAMBER INDICATORS: ECI’s will be used to indicate there is not a round in the chamber. Match director will

make ECIs available to shooters who do not have them.

SCORES REPORTED: Scores will be reported to the NRA.


Match 1: Dewar – 20 shots 50 yards A-27 target – 20 shots 100 yards  A-25 target

Match 2: 100 yards – 40 shots, A-25 target

Match 3 50 yards – 40 shots, A-23/5 target.

Match 4: Aggregate of Matches 1-3

F-class will use A-51 and A-33 targets

GENERAL INFORMATION: The Club has rifles, ammunition and other equipment that can be made available to beginning

shooters. Contact Gus Youmans by Email no later than the Friday prior to the match so

that it can be brought to the range. Ammunition will be provided at cost to adults and free to juniors. Water and latrine

facilities are available on the range. There are no other services or facilities available on the range. Camping is allowed
